Policies & Payment

I work directly for my clients, and not for their insurance companies or managed care programs. I prefer payment up front, and that you bill your insurer. This allows for truer confidentiality of service. Other inherent limits to confidentiality will be discussed during our first session, and further reviewed whenever necessary.

Rates: My rates at this time are $165/hr in the North Bay and $185/hr in San Francisco.

Please keep this in mind: As of December 31, 2019, I will only be accepting clients on a fee-for-service basis; I will also offer a sliding fee scale for those who need, or whose insurance will not reimburse.

Clients who have insurance which accepts out of network providers will see me, pay up front and submit the Superbill I provide them to their insurance companies for reimbursement.
I will accept Medicare, but I am not sure if those clients with Medicare supplements will be able to use the latter in any way.
